Sun. 1/4 - Loreto - House of the Holy Family

After a hearty Sunday breakfast, we drove off to see the Holy House of Loreto, the house that the Virgin Mary was brought up in and in which the Holy Family later resided.  The house was moved several times with the last being to Loreto in 1295.  Amazing to see 15 plus friars hearing confessions on a Sunday morning and so many Italians availing themselves of the Sacrament.  Beautiful music during the Mass that was being held while we were visiting and a gorgeous church elevated the visit..  By chance our stop coincided with Loreto's Blessing of the Bikes festival.
