After visiting Monte Cassino, we headed south to Mugnano to pay our respects to St. Philomena, grabbing a mid-afternoon lunch on the way. Wonderful priest showed us the warmest hospitality. The parish puts out a calendar featuring pilgrimage groups. We made the 2016 cut! He was so excited to see a young group coming to his small town to venerate a 14 year old martyr who died in 304AD.
